IT'S A BOY!!!

A few days late and most of you already know, but we found out on Monday that Baby Coleman is a BOY!!!!! The Doc said everything looks great and that he weighs about 11oz. It's so weird to see the baby kicking everywhere and still not be able to feel it. So yes we are still waiting on that!
We are sooooo excited and I have been looking at bedding all week long. How come you can never can find the colors you want. I want to use black and turquoise and everything is brown.....urr.
Anyway my next appointment is July 10th but I guess they will all be pretty boring from now on. My insurance only allows 2 ultrasounds and I have already had 2, but we are thinking about having a 3-D done in East Texas so our parents can be there. More updates later!!!

1 More Week: Boy or Girl?

SO a week from today we will hopefully (my fingers are crossed that the baby's legs are not!) find out if we are having a baby girl or a baby boy!!! I have to tell everyone that up until about a week ago I was dead certain that it's a girl, I just had that feeling. Then last Saturday I had a dream that we had a baby boy. The next morning I rolled over and told Brad what I had dreamed and he said, "I had that dream 2 nights ago." What? and he didn't mention it, typical man!!! Anyway so now I'm pretty certain that it's a boy!


I will definitely post next week and let everyone know. Also I will be 19 weeks in 2 days and still NO MOVEMENT, I know it's still early but there is no way that the Coleman's can have a "lazy" baby!!!!

Back to the Dr - 16 weeks

The Dr. says everything looks great!!!! I feel great and am anxiously waiting for the first time I feel Baby Coleman move!! They say some can start to feel movement at 16 but most people I have talked to say it's closer to 20 wks. What about you guys?? We also made the appointment for the ultrasound for June 8th to see if it's a boy or girl. Im so excited to find out so I (we) can start on the nursery!

To be honest it still doesnt feel real and there are some brief (till I look in the mirror, Ha Ha) moments I forget Im pregnant. I think that is why Im so anxious to feel the baby move! Anyway just wanted to send an update....

Past the First Trimester

So I thought that being pregnant would help me be better at keeping this thing more updated....doesnt look like it. Anyway Im now 13 weeks pregnant and into my 2nd trimester! I am feeling great the nausea stopped at week 10 and since then it has all been wonderful thus far!! I have been taking belly pics every 4 weeks however Ive been doing them wearing a sports bra and work out pants so dont think Ill post them.

My last Dr apt was on good Friday and we got to listen to the heart beat. The Dr said based on the old wives tale about heart rate it would be a girl but we wont know until June.

Happy Birthday To ME!!!!!!

Well I think that most of you that read this all ready know but I wanted to start keeping blogs about the next 7 month journey of our lives. SO if you dont know all ready Brad and I are FINALLY pregnant. Just a little background: Brad and I have been married for 8 1/2 years and for the first 7 we said we never wanted to have kids. Well I guess that motherly instinct kicked in a little over a year ago and we changed our minds. We have been trying since last June and found out on my Birthday (Feb 19th)that we may be pregnant. We then went to the Dr. 2 weeks later and got to see that oh so sweet heart beat.
We are really excited, nervous, anxious, scared.......all at the same time!!!!
Anyway my next Dr. appointment is April 10th so I will and be good about keeping this updated.
I also want to say "Thank You" to all you guys that have been praying for us and keeping us in your thoughts, I love you guys!!!!!!

The Little Things!

SO its's Valentines day and we as females sometimes have so many big expectations from our men but most of the time it's the little things that bring tears to our eyes and warmth to our hearts. At least this is the case for me. My wonderful husband brought home beautiful flowers for me but the thing that meant the most to me was what was with the flowers. It was not a card written by halmark but a simple piece of paper with the sweetest note: "Every moment we spend together is a blessing in my life.I love you!"

Baby Pumpkin Decorating Contest

The weekend of Halloween we had a pumpkin decorating contest at work. I can't believe that I actually won!!! I never win anything especially when it comes to crafty things. Here is my 1st place pumpkin - if you can't figure it out it is Cinderella after she turned into a pumpkin when she didnt make it home before 12:00.
